Former Rangers target Jamie Walker has caused a stir in Scottish football this weekend after opening up about his failed move to Ibrox this summer, as reported by The Daily Record.
The winger has stated he believes he can win a move ‘bigger and better’ than Rangers next summer and supporters of the Light Blues haven’t exactly taken the comments well.
After stellar form for Hearts last season, scoring 15 goals for the Edinburgh side, he was one of Scottish football’s hottest properties in the summer but he eventually ended up staying at Tynecastle. He hasn’t started this season as impressively, failing to score or assist in his opening matches.
He’ll be available to sign a pre-contract in January if he doesn’t signed a new Hearts deal and is a tempting prospect for clubs looking for an attacking impact on a budget.
However, his inconsistency this season and his latest comments this weekend have now turned off some Rangers fans to his potential arrival at Ibrox.
