John Terry’s FIFA 18 card was revealed earlier this week, with the centre-back being awarded an overall rating of 78 on the latest version of the game.
In his prime, it would be fair to suggest that Terry, who left Chelsea on a free transfer at the end of last season, was one of the best centre-backs in the world, which was recognised by FIFA on previous versions.
Terry started FIFA 17 with an overall rating of 84, but has dropped six points after leaving the Premier League for Championship football.
Indeed, the 36-year-old decided to snub interest from the top flight in order to join Aston Villa on a free transfer during the summer window.
Terry has made seven Championship appearances during the 2017-18 campaign, but his form has been questioned by a number of Villa supporters, with many claiming that the centre-back lacks the required turn of pace to operate in that area of the field.
Indeed, many Villa fans decided to have a pop at the former England captain on social media when Terry’s official FIFA 18 rating was released.
