Aston Villa fans were hoping that the club would launch a serious promotion challenge this season, particularly after recruiting Chelsea legend John Terry.
However, it has not quite gone to plan, with the team yet to pick up a win in the Championship after two outings.
Their opener against Hull City at Villa Park ended in a 1-1 draw after Gabriel Agbonlahor’s seventh-minute goal was cancelled out by Jarrod Bowen.
The Midlands outfit had an opportunity to get their first victory this afternoon when they travelled to Wales to face Cardiff City.
It was a match that most supporters would rather forget, though, as the team were beaten 3-0 by the Bluebirds.
An uninspiring performance from the players has put the fans in a miserable mood, and the scoreline could have been much heavier were in not for goalkeeper Sam Johnstone making a handful of saves.
Some supporters have turned on manager Steve Bruce, with calls for Tim Sherwood to return as coach following his eight-month stint in 2015.
