Rangers left Celtic Park with their pride intact on Sunday after battling to an unlikely 1-1 draw against their arch rivals.
A late Clint Hill equaliser sent the away support into delirium after Stuart Armstrong had given the Hoops a lead in the first half.
The point does little for the Gers’ league position right now but it does give supporters hope that they can challenge Celtic in the future when new boss Pedro Caixinha gets a handle on the team.
Celtic have been riding a wave of success so far this season with names like Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele attracting a lot of attention for their exceptional attacking displays.
That’s led to transfer speculation and discussion of large fees, something that Gers supporters are sceptical of and they found much delight in seeing players such as the veteran Hill cope with the much hyped Dembele.
